Canyon Springs Subdivision The Community Development Department has withdrawn the Canyon Springs Draft EIR for consideration by the Planning Commission. In addition, the applicant has placed their application on hold while they consider making revisions to the project. The Community Development Department is not currently processing the Canyon Springs Subdivision tentative map application as we wait for direction from the applicant. Any changes to the status of the project, including the submittal of a revised tentative map and project description, will be reported without delay on this webpage. Knight's Crossing The Planning Commission on September 12, 2007 approved a tentative map application to subdivide the 10-acre commercial property into four parcels. Knight's Crossing is an approved mixed use project proposing 23,300 square feet of commercial floor space and ten residential units. The developer has submitted building permit applications for grading and all buildings, but no building permits have been issued. The project site is located on the west side of Dorchester Drive across from the Glenshire General Store. TDPUD ParcelThe Truckee Donner Public Utility District owns an approximately 10 acre parcel on Glenshire Drive immediately west of the Glenshire Subdivision. The Zoning Administrator on September 19, 2007 approved a minor use permit to convert the Glenshire Mutual Water Company building into a single family residence. Hirschdale Cindercone Mine Teichert, Inc. has submitted to the Community Development Department an application for the ten-year review of the mine's reclamation plan. The Hirschdale Cindercone Mine is located northwest of the Glenshire Subdivision and is accessed from Old Highway 40 and Archery View. Town staff is currently reviewing the application which will be forwarded to the Planning Commission for their consideration. The Planning Commission meeting date has not yet been scheduled. Delano Tentative Map Cameron Delano has submitted to the Community Development Department an application to subdivide two parcels of 9.5 acres into four parcels of 2.0, 2.0, 2.7, and 2.8 acres each. The property is located immediately south of the Glenshire Subdivision on Royal Crest Drive. Town staff is currently reviewing the application which will be forwarded to the Zoning Adminstrator for his consideration. The Zoning Administrator meeting date has not yet been scheduled.
